Youth Services
Child & Teen Therapy provides supportive, developmentally appropriate care for youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges. Trish specializes in helping children and teens understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build resilience in a safe and structured environment. Therapy focuses on strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and addressing concerns such as anger, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, school struggles, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Sessions integrate evidence-based approaches—including EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed skills, and polyvagal-informed regulation techniques—to help young clients manage big emotions, understand triggers, and respond to stress with greater control. Parents are included in the therapeutic process to support consistency at home. This may include guidance on routines, boundaries, positive reinforcement, and strategies for navigating family conflict or behavioral difficulties. The goal of Child & Teen Therapy is to help youth build confidence, improve emotional stability, strengthen relationships, and learn lifelong skills that support healthy development and a more balanced future.
